dnsmasq-dhcp stops loggin in syslog with ab-solution 3

Is this a problem? I don't know. I get sick of them especially when some machine or iphone does a dhcprequest every 30 seconds, but sometimes they are handy, I know when kids get home!

AB3 thread please.... but yes this is normal behaviour with AB

I normally know when the kids are home because their bags and shoes are all dumped in the hall

Without using AB you can turn off the ACK and REQ spam with the dnsmasq option "quiet-dhcp" added to dnsmasq.conf, I have done this for years...
