Sorry accidentally posted this to Asus Wireless before.
I have an AC3200 on 384.4 with OpenVPN server. It is not DHCP server on my LAN for the purposes of handing out IP addresses. But I would like to configure dnsmasq to provide static routes in response to DHCPINFORM requests.
dhcp-option=121,10.8.0.0/24,192.168.0.2
dhcp-option=249,10.8.0.0/24,192.168.0.2
This is so LAN nodes know how to route packets back to OpenVPN clients.
Is it enough to add to dhcpmasq.conf.add? On the GUI is it OK for DHCP server to be off (since I do not want it handing out IP addresses)?
Do IP devices such as HP printers and HDHomeRun send out DHCPINFORM requests or only computers?
Thanks!
