Hi,

I was wondering, is it possible to configure Merlin's build of dnsmasq to be the resolver? That is to not have to use say 8.8.8.8 but rather have the router do all the resolutions? If so, can someone point me in the right direction as I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks,

J

Not possible. From the dnsmasq manual:

Dnsmasq is a DNS query forwarder: it is not capable of recursively answering arbitrary queries starting from the root servers but forwards such queries to a fully recursive upstream DNS server which is typically provided by an ISP.
