So, I just purchased a D-Link DIR-825 Dual-Band Router.
I have an HP6930P laptop with built-in draft-N Wireless technology.
I also have a desktop that has a Linksys WUSB300N adapter.
Essentially, here are my questions:
Will I get top speed on my laptop with my new DIR-825 Router, or should I get a dual-band adapter to boost up the speed.
Same question with my desktop, is the Linksys WUSB300N adapter sufficient to produce max speed or must I purchase a dual-band technology adapter?
Finally, if it does come down to maxing out speed with a dual-band adapter does it matter which company I purchase it from? If Linksys has my favorite adapter can I purchase one from them and still produce the same result from using a D-Link DWA-160?
Thanks for the answers, I greatly appreciate it.
