Dual WAN with diferent VLAN

meganesani

New Around Here
I'm trying to configure dual-WAN on the router and I'm having a problem. I connect both connections, but each provider uses a different VLAN ID: one uses 10 and the other 20.

If I go into the WAN settings and change the VLAN ID to 802.1Q, it doesn't matter which interface I have selected; it applies to both connections.
One connects to the internet, and the other doesn't.

If I change the value the other way around, the other one connects, and the previous one loses connection.

I don't know if there's a way to change this, either through the web or the console.
I'm really lost.

I’ve never used this feature, but if you Add Profile, it seems to include a unique VLAN field. Otherwise, I see a wan0_vid and wan1_vid nvram variables you can experiment with.

@dave14305 Many thanks for the answer.
I tried this, but since it wouldn't let me activate another profile, it was a bit difficult to figure out how to get it working, but I managed.
Let me explain in case anyone else finds themselves in a similar situation.

First, we configure dual WAN and set the interfaces to use, in this case 10G WAN and 2.5G WAN.

Now, we select the first interface and configure it. We click Create Profile, and then create the profile for the second.

But it didn't work, and while testing I discovered that the saved values are assigned to the interface selected in the primary WAN, modifying the WAN values again even if the tab above says something else, these are assigned to the secondary WAN.

But it didn't work, and after testing, I discovered that the saved values are assigned to the interface selected on the primary WAN. By modifying the WAN values again, even though the top tab says something else and 2.5 WAN appears, which in my case is the primary, these are assigned to the secondary WAN, and the primary WAN takes the values saved in the profile as the first.
And there is a connection on both. I tested the failover and it's fine.
