Hi all,
Just bought the EA-N66 to complement my RT-N66U router. When trying to connect directly with the EA-N66 through my Macbook's Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter it simply wont make a connection thus leaving me with no way of changing any settings or modes on the device.
I have tested the Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter with a different cable directly to a switch on the network and it connects fine.
I can connect the EA-N66 to the RT-N66U router using WPS and establish a wireless connection to my NAS which then works great with the Macbook. But I really want to have a play with the settings and change modes.
Question 1
Has anyone else encountered an issue when using the EA-N66 with a Macbook Pro Thunderbolt ethernet adapter and if so were there any solutions?
Question 2 (Off Topic)
Can the EA-N66 be plugged into a gigabit switch and have several devices share the wireless connection or is it limited to a single device?
Regards
Mike
