Hi,

By using Merlin's enhanced firmware you can replace configuration files or add topic to them as outlined on Merlin's wiki page.

For smb.conf I suggest to replace the default one by your own. The current version you can find on the router at /etc/smb.conf - simply transfer it to /jffs/config/smb.conf and add/change what you need.

Do not forget to reboot the router and be happy!
