Emoji as WIFI Name

Hi

Anyone knows an easy method for putting Emojis as WIFI name with ASUS Merlin? Just for my own network.

The answer is: don't.

Just use normal alphanumeric characters. There's been too many reports on here of router settings, configuration pages or backups being corrupted because somebody tried using unusual characters.

You can log into your router using your mobil phone which has and Emojis keyboard option and type the charcters. The problem is that neither Merlin or Tomato will allow you to use Emojis and will reject the characters.

If you run across that SSID again do a scan and find out what type of router was used that allowed Emojis.
