Guys, any help is appreciated

Environment: RT-AC56U + Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.32
VPN: Private Internet Access, running on the router itself

Modem: Sagemcom F@st VDLS modem; the router is assigned a static IP and set in DMZ zone; router is the one dialing (PPPoE connection)

Local media server running Air Video Server 2.4.6 beta3

Problem: with VPN on, AirVideo server is not accessible from Internet (as per-built-in connection tool), and naturally cannot access

switch off VPN - the test tools confirms accessibility, and I was able to connect remotely and stream a "video".

Turning on and off VPN is not really practical, yet I would like to get this functionality working.... any ideas?

Just recieved suggestion from PIA tech support:

On the client try the following
Advanced Settings
Change the protocol to TCP
Change the remote port to 443
Leave the local port blank
Save and then Disconnect
Reconnect
(Unrestricted port settings^)

Switching to TCP did not help. I chatted with PIA tech support girl and filed a ticket.

Seems like the only realistic solution is to put a system outside of VPN tunnel in order for Airvideo to be accessible

Any ideas how? I have no idea about iptables...
