EnGenius’ EAP2200 is a indoor 802.11ac access point marketed to small and medium-sized businesses and residences, and is manageable individually or by using Engenius’ ezMaster software for larger installations.

Part of the EnGenius EnTurbo line of networking products, the tri-band EAP2200 is powered by a Qualcomm 717 MHz quad-core processor, is PoE compatible, and uses an integrated omni-directional antenna.

EAP2200 uses three bands with the following maximum link rates – one 2.4 GHz band at 400 Mbps, and two 5 GHz bands at 867 Mbps each. Other wireless features include MU-MIMO, auto-band steering, and beamforming. Operation modes for the EAP2200 include access point mode, WDS: WDS AP, WDS bridge, and repeater.

Also included on the EAP2200 are two GbE ports that, when link aggregation is enabled, can reach up to 2 Gbps in throughput.

Available now through EnGenius resellers and distributors, EAP2200 Tri-Band AP’s MSRP is $239.
