Hi all
I have a Asus AiMesh system in place with ethernet backhaul.
I use it mostly for Netflix and Wi-Fi camera system.
There are two houses on the property. To get line of sight to each router is mission impossible. That is why opted to go for Ethernet backhaul.
Brick walls, windows wooden doors etc. that at the end influences Wi-Fi signal.
Question:
As said to achieve line of sight between router not possible. Do they need to be in line of sight that is the question?
Ethernet backhaul on all routers and extender. This includes RP-AX56 extender.
Ok my setup.
RT-AX86U
RT-AC68U
RT-AX56U
RP-AX56
RT-AX58U they all on Ethernet Backhaul.
All routers or extender are all placed to complement my Wi-Fi camera system.
Wi-Fi smart connect off in AiMesh.
Separate password for 2.4 and 5G Wi-Fi.
