Openwrt's MWAN3 or Multiwan packages can be a nice reference point.
-When you disable a wireless frequency, and you go disable all wireless from the router's physical disable button and re-enable it, all wireless turns back on. Maybe it would be nice to have an option like a permanent disable checkbox for these situations.
