Yes I already thought that. I have installed the new asus firmware and now the ping times are normal again. Online play should improve now

Hi,

Looks like Asus cannot make it work with the new Broadcom drivers.
That's the reason Merlin with his firmware went back to the older Brodadcom dirvers which where part of the 270 version - see Downgraded RT-N66U to SDK 5.100.

The downgrade is only for N66U. Note OP said trendnet AC wireless.
