New Around Here
Hi all,

My 5Ghz band is set as Wireless Client. It works well most of the time. However, sometimes it changes from channel 132 to 60 for unknown reasons, even though channel 132 is still reachable. In fact, when it does that, the connection becomes very bad.

I would like to prevent the router from switching to a different channel.
How can I set Channel 132 (and possibly 136) as the only acceptable Channels for 5Ghz band (so the router doesn't switch to another Channel, like 60)?

I'm using TomatoUSB firmware.

Thank you!

You can set 5 GHz (and 2.4 GHz) fixed on one channel of your choice.
You cannot specify a range of channels or a few allowed channels.

I already did, but when I go to Status page, it is using a different channel, that is it changes automatically to other channels occasionally.

I was thinking of maybe using commands to enable or disable specific channel numbers since this setting on the interface is not working as expected.

But regulatory mode is off.
I wish I could fix that. When channel changes to 60, the connection gets very bad.
