Hi,

is there a way to flash the firmware (tomata,ddwrt,asuswrt, etcl.) directly from the ssh bash?

Is there a way, to put the router in recovery mode fromt shell too?

It's not a bash, it's a busybox shell.

No. Recovery mode serviced by CFE (bootloader), so falling into recovery mode is possible only on boot only.

Thx. So the right way to flash are:

1. mtd-write -i firmware.trx -d linux
2. nvram erase
3. nvram commit
4. reboot

Almost

1) Make sure maximum amount of external services has been stopped before flashing.
2) Some NVRAM vars may be saved before reboot by httpd\wl firmware daemons.
