Forced DNS clarification

I have opendns setup on my RT-N66U and it is working fine. What I would like to do is force all clients to use openddns instead of being able to circumvent by changing their local dns settings.

I am reading different things in several forums.

1) Can I do this with stock firmware?
2) Is it a function in the web gui or do I have to use iptables?
3) Is there some other way I have to use but seem to be missing?

You need a third party firmware like mine to do this. Any iptables configuration you'd manually do on the stock firmware would be lost after a reboot.

Thanks for the reply. No problem with that, I can install it today. Could you point me in the direction of some instructions on how to force the DNS use?

Either set it globally (to force all clients), or force it only for specific clients. You could for example force it to your children's devices, but leave the parent's devices on the ISP's DNS.
