Maybe it does, maybe it doesn't, but seems my old RT-AC68P name is coming through. (Used the V24 NVRAM tool, before you updated it)

Another quirky bug.

QoS Page, while having NAT acceleration on.

From OFF, switch to ON (while leaving up and down fields blank).
You will get a warning saying fields cannot be blank.
Click over to the QoS stats page (says disabled)
Click back to QoS main page, On button shows green now (no reboot)
Fill in your up and down limits, click save (takes a short amount of time)
Everything "appears" like QoS is on, even in the logs.
Check NAT acceleration in switch tab, still shows as on....?

Back to QoS page, turning Off gets a full reboot
Turning On after reboot, reboots again, and now QoS is as it should be.

Just an update to say everything is working fine on my old model RT-AC68U.

I don't have gigabit internet so I can't test that, but I did disable QoS and IPTraffic and got "Enabled (CTF + FA)". As expected Traffic Monitor graphs incorrectly show negligible data for WAN to LAN transfers, but WAN to WLAN is OK.
Oh, and my WAN interface is now vlan2 instead of eth0. But I think that's expected as well.

Are you sure you used migrate mode? (that name is one of things that isn't restored in migrate)

Yep, absolutely sure I used the MIG script. Nevertheless, I have since cleared NVRAM and started over after finding that.

This much of it is what I experienced, though I had turned off acceleration, by chance, before I entered my QoS info.

Fixed for the next beta

Flashed on the Asus AC68u E1, working fine. Using almost the default settings and no issues or downtime yet. However my up time is only a little over 4 hours so too early to make assumptions yet. Router is new and states it was manufactured in 2017 on the box.

Anyone know what they changed in E1?

I've put about 50 gigabytes worth of traffic through the network over the weekend, and intentionally tried to overwhelm the network while using the Xbox, no issues. Also no issues with two boxes and NAT, ports, etc. which based on what I've seen in some other threads isn't a universally enjoyed event.

Hi. Thank you for this great release. Installed this morning. Installed because of QOS working. My only problem is related to VPN client.
First, I was unable to connect to my VPN.
Then, I Disabled DNScrypt. Uploaded a new server ovpn file and it connected.
Tried browsing and many website were unavalable. Activated DNScrypt but same result with website.
Stopped VNP client and website were ok.

Don't know how to resolve this problem.à

Here is a part of the log
/usr/sbin/ip route del 10.10.0.1/32
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: ERROR: Linux route delete command failed: external program exited with error status: 2
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: /usr/sbin/ip route del 71.19.251.107/32
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: /usr/sbin/ip route del 0.0.0.0/1
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: ERROR: Linux route delete command failed: external program exited with error status: 2
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: /usr/sbin/ip route del 128.0.0.0/1
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: ERROR: Linux route delete command failed: external program exited with error status: 2
Aug 21 17:47:08 openvpn[1790]: Closing TUN/TAP interface

Any help ?

Any help ?
Those logs are 'normal'.....when the VPN is stopped the firmware custom code clean up the custom routing, then the OpenVPN code comes along and tries to delete the same routes again, which now aren't there and it posts that error.

I run VPN client with DNSCrypt and DNSSEC, so it should be working.
Please post up more of your syslog starting right from the VPN client starting.

Restored to default.
Setup Wireless
Setup LAN - IP, DHCP Range and one Manually Assigned IP (my synology)
Setup VPN - Runnning OK
Internet browsing test - OK
updated Redirect Internet traffic to Policy Rules for the Manually Assigned IP
Internet browsing test on computers - Dead

The RT-AC66U_B1 is a really nice model. You get the RT-AC68U featureset at a slightly lower price. Most people don't care about the non-detachable antennas, and a lot of people will also prefer the "desktop" design as it means it's also wall-mountable.

You are right, it addresses one of the main shortcomings of the AC56U, which is the lack of movable antennas/Wifi Coverage while having a slightly faster CPU at the same price-point.

I've replaced both AC56Us at home last night and it solved my wifi coverage issue on 5GHz.

Unfortunately, I have to disagree with you about wall-mounting: unlike the N66U (and the old AC66U), it doesn't have the mounting holes so it still need zip-ties, and to look neat, it needs to be mounted upside-down. From this perspective, the AC56U was better because of the position of the connections.

A final beta update.

Biggest change are updates to fully support the AC66U_B1! Thanks again to @tracker.ca for his test support.

I've also included builds for all the supported routers for verification prior to me merging my development branch to my main branch. Fixes/Changes based on recent feedback on the main stable branch have also been incorporated into this beta. (@cybrnook @Builder71)

Please see the first post for more detail. Thanks again for everyone's support!
