Black Friday was too tempting so I upgraded my AC-3200 to an RT-AC86u. Now I want to recreate all the customizations I had and start using the IPSEC vpn server.

Just installed 384.8 beta on it. Thanks RMerlin!

I have this behind a FIOS router, still in router mode but connected via LAN ports, with the FIOS router as the DHCP server for all. How can I use the IPSEC vpn server in this scenario? I have a Windows Server 2016 box right now as IPSEC/L2TP VPN server but would like to use this router's IPSEC/XAUTH server instead.

I forwarded Protocols AH and ESP as well as UDP ports 500 and 4500 from the FIOS router to the RT 86u LAN IP. Has anyone been able to get the IPSEC server to work behind a main router? I have openvpn & PPTP server on the ac86u working that way already.

Also on my ac3200 I had the WAN port added to the LAN switch using robocfg. This utility is not available on my new RT-ac86u (yes, I did a forum search). Has anyone figured out a way to enable the WAN port to become a 5th LAN port?

Thanks!
