Get to recovery console command?

Is there a command that reboots the router into recovery mode without having to use the button on the back?

Due to office layout/installation getting to the button, now that I've got everything setup and stable with Merlin's FW, is a bit difficult. Would be much easier if I could issue a command and have it reboot to the recovery console.

Can't be done. For starter the CFE doesn't read the content of nvram, so there is no way to signal it it has to boot into recovery mode.

I guess you could always corrupt your firmware willingly to force it to get stuck in recovery mode, but that sounds a bit like fishing with dynamite or something.

Don't knock fishing with dynamite until you give it a try.
