Hi.

I found a Yocto-Buzzer in my garage. I decided to give it a try with my RT-AX88U and it works!
Basically this is an external programmable USB module that lets you add a buzzer, two LEDs, and even two analog inputs to your ASUS-Merlin.

My programming capabilities are extremely limited but the module is full of potentialities.
I am going to try and add, for instance, a boot up and shutdown sound to the ASUS, and play all different sounds and led combination in association with the different merlin user scripts executions.

The buzzer's user guide is here https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/products/yocto-buzzer/doc/YBUZZER2.usermanual.html

The company also has a blog with lots of ideas connected to their many modules https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/blog_by_categories/programming

some sample ringtones for the buzzer are here: https://www.yoctopuce.com/EN/article/fancy-ringtones-for-the-yocto-buzzer

Would be kinda cool to have an audible alarm start going off when your WAN or VPN connections go down! :) Nice find! Very unique!

well you can also have flashing lights instead :))

But I see your point, although I'd rather beat the teen's cell phone with that hammer....
