Google just announced Google Home users can now add two additional smart home brands to its growing list of supported products, which already includes Samsung SmartThings, Philips Hue and Nest.

Per Google’s announcement, with Honeywell, Google Home users can control home temperature levels over voice command, while managing smart lighting at home can be done through Belkin Wemo products. Google didn’t specify which other Honeywell and Belkin smart home products beyond home climate control and lighting were supported, however Belkin announced Wemo Mini, Wemo Switch, Wemo Insight Switch, and Wemo Light Switch are supported. Both companies have a variety of other smart products that cover home appliances, security, safety and utility management that could benefit from Google Home support.

A second announcement made, though brief, is Google Pixel’s upcoming Google Home support, which will also include support for the IFTTT (if this, then that) service. With IFTTT, smart home users (and soon Pixel owners) can orchestrate and trigger multiple products to respond to a single voice command.

Google Home compatibility for Honeywell and Belkin Wemo is available now - Belkin’s own announcement mentions that firmware 10855 or above is needed for its products. A date for Pixel integration was not given.
