I bought a used GT-AX11000. Love the GUI interface. This is to replace my AC5300. My question is this - is it valuable to upload the MERLIN firmware or just keep the stock ASUS firmware? It seems to function pretty well with the stock ASUS firmware. Appreciate any feedback especially from someone that has done this.

Keep it on stock Asuswrt for now and test is everything works properly on it. Asuswrt-Merlin adds more advanced VPN configurations and custom scripts. Everything else is available in 388 firmware and current stock Asuswrt is newer. Experiment with Asuswrt-Merlin after 388.2 release, If you want to.
