Hi, all -
I have a central router and four RT-N66U access points running Merlin 374.40, all connected by Ethernet back to a central router, spanning a large area.
I was hoping to set up a guest network, but was surprised when there was no guest subnet created and no isolation from the main network. That pretty much defeats the purpose of a guest network.
I was also going to set up VLAN trunking, but the interface to do so and capabilities of the Asus firmware appear very limited.
Before I give up and install DD-WRT for additional flexibility with VLANs, I wanted to check to see if there were any updates on techniques to isolate the guest network (no access to the internal network - outside Internet only) with Merlin for those running the APs in Access Point mode.
I have seen this thread, but the last point was quite a while back:

Thanks for your help!
