Help Needed: Assign LAN port as WAN

    Is it possible to assign a lan port as the wan interface via shh?

    I cant use gui as its an AI mesh node and wan port doesnt work.

    What are you trying to do? Setting up an ethernet backhaul?

    You only need the WAN connected on the router, not the nodes.

    Yes, Ethernet backhaul on ai mesh node.

    What makes you think the WAN port is broken? If you reset it and use it in other modes, does it not work? It’s probably a configuration issue rather than hardware issue.

    The actual wan port is physically damaged. (3 year old inserted things into it after knocking it down)

    get out the inserted thing, maybe you have to straighten and bend the pins to be parallel up again. Should be possible.
    Dont think it is electrically demaged by a 3 years old.
