HELP! VoIP issues with RT-AC87R and not RT-N16

I currently have a RT-16N with a basic setup.
I have a VoIP phone that uses SIP.
Everything works fine.
I bought a new RT-AC87R and now the VoIP phone will not register.
Is there something in the RT-AC87R that is different that the RT-16N in regards to blocked ports from the initial configuration, etc??????

SOLVED!
It seems that on the RT-N16, the SIP Passthrough needs to be set to 'ENABLE' whereas on the RT-AC87R, the SIP Passthrough needs to be set to 'DISABLE'

Not sure I understand why?
