help with nvram settings

I was thinking about creating a script to auto connect to some (already known) wireless networks as a client to repeat the signal.

Just like the good old AutoAP, except it would not scan for open networks, but connect to a given list of SSIDs and WPA keys.

Is there a comprehensive list of NVRAM settings and descriptions somewhere?

If not, could someone please share what settings/commands should be used to:

- disconnect from current network if 'ping google.com' fails
- scan for networks
- connect to the strongest network from the list [wifi1, mynet2, neighbourwifi] using the supplied keys

Thanks
