HomePlug units in ungrounded power lines?

Fraoch

I've looked and looked and looked and I can't find a definitive answer to this...

My early '50s-era home has ungrounded power outlets in the older sections. So my power lines are two-conductor.

Would HomePlug work in this situation?

I think it should - no device plugged into an outlet should use the ground conductor for anything but emergency grounding anyway.

Should work. Powerline currently uses only hot and neutral. Next generation powerline will also use ground conductor if it is available.

Great, thanks!
