How can i get my scanner usb to work in my router?

Hi i'm new to the forum, and i was wondering how can i get my printer/scanner to work properly with my RT-AX56U with Asuswrt-merlin 386.2_2 i already tried this tutorial https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/wiki/Network-Scanning-With-Sane but i always get "can't establish connection to hostname" error, i'm able to print over the network via my router with my printer/scanner using ASUS feature but i want to be able to scan over the network too, can someone help me with this please?.

My Printer/scanner: EPSON L380
My Asuswrt-merlin addons: Diversion, Skynet, scMerlin, spdMerlin, Scribe, uiScribe, Yazfi and Cake-qos v2.0.0 Alpha
