How to access modem at 192.168.100.1

Huawei HG8040H's web interface 192.168.100.1 can only be accessed from 192.168.100.0/24. So how can a device behind asuswrt-merlin access the modem?

Thank you so much. Adding a subinterface is exactly what I am trying to do.

Change the Subnet Mask to 255.255.0.0. Now he can see me from from 192.168.0.0/16.

My Arris modem is accessible at 192.168.100.1 through the firewall, no configuration necessary. Along with the bound address in the 75.x.x.x range, router also gets a 192.168.100.x address. No muss, no fuss.
