How to change the WAN-MAC-Address via console??? RT-AC87U

Hi

sometimes I need a new external IP. I need to change the WAN-MAC-Address and reboot the cable-modem to get it.
The Script for the cable-modem works fine, but i can't change the MAC on the router via Console.
The "normal" WRT-Howto didn't work.

Can somebody help??

I would dump the contents of nvram show to a file, change via wan -mac clone webgui page, then dump the contents of nvram again and compare the difference as to what changed.
