How to disable Intel RDRAND acceleration?

I saw this post on reddit where a user was complaining of slow VPN speeds then another user suggests:

You have to disable the Intel RDRAND acceleration, otherwise the AES-GCM hardware crypto won't be used, just select none.

Just AES-NI correct

Any idea how to do this on my GT-AX11000?

I think this is only specific to Intel/AMD x86 CPUs. The AX11000 is an ARM-based Broadcom device
