New Around Here
I've got a new-to-me house with Comcast cable Internet (no TV) entering on the 2nd floor. There are 12 coax cables coming in there that I would like to hook up with MoCA.
I've got a MoCA compliant amplifier already in place (from previous owner, who didn't use MoCA, just had that amp installed) its the PCT-VC-F19A AMPLIFIER, but it's only 8-port. I'm not an expert but I cannot find an amp with more ports in the usual places (newegg, amazon, pct's web site, google search); this leads me to believe that there is another way of doing this that I don't know of.
I'm using ActionTec ECB6000 and ECB6200 MoCA adapters, and for the ports that are connected, they work great. How do I get the additional 4 ports into the mix?
Thank you for your time!
The flow is:
Cable IN > split to Modem/ECB6200 > to PCT Modem connection and Coax In> then 8 ports out to other rooms. I have 4 more coax connections I need to add in to the MoCA net.
Thanks again.
