How to share a NAS between Ubuntu and Windows

Zed1

New Around Here
Hi, I have created a Storage Pool on my NAS. Is it possible to share a volume on the NAS between a Windows and an Ubuntu desktop?

The short answer is "yes", that's more or less the whole point of a NAS, if you really have one (and not an external drive of some sort), and it is relatively current.

The longer answer would require at a minimum some basic info such as the NAS manufacturer and model. Firmware version may be important. Windows version and Ubuntu version and possibly the hardware platform wouldn't be a bad idea either :)

With more information we may be able to give you specific directions.
