I fail to stay connected to a RT-AX52 wifi signal (2.4 GHz).

I disconnected some minutes before 14:20.

Thank you!!!!

It looks like the client (3a:78:25:2e:d3:36) disconnected itself from the router at 14:19:10 and then reconnected a couple of minutes later. So it looks like a client issue.

What is device 3a:78:25:2e:d3:36?

You say you have another RT-AX52. How is this connected to your network? Is it possible that the client tried to connect to this other router and then went back to the first router?

No, my mac is not set to autoconnect anywhere. It just disconnects from the asus.

Both of this routers are set on bridge mode in different ports behind a openwrt router.

Disconnected again, gah. Will test the Asus behind another network to see if its maybe the openwrt, dont think so but will test.

If this is the situation then bye bye asus i am sending them back.

Get two Omada EAP620 HD access points, not too expensive and good Qualcomm hardware, PoE or 12V adapter powered. Power adapter is included. AX1800-class with Tx power and antenna gain close to max EIRP per region, adequate range for such a small size device. They have stand-alone mode with Browser or App configuration and native VLAN support. Better match for your OpenWrt router.

I need to have 3-port switch on the Access points :/ But thank you for your recommendation.

Lets see what I can find. TP-link is ok but very difficult to understand what cpu/ram is in the box.

Hmmm...

Available, but PoE powered only. Read the specifications, different purpose device.

If you want VLAN segmentation options for your LAN/WLAN devices avoid consumer AIO routers. Give priority to Qualcomm based hardware devices over Broadcom/MediaTek.

That is my computer, It seems like it is my computer that disconnects. I disconnected after about 1-2 hours on a Linksys also. Lol, this didnt happen before, must be something I have done on the computer.

Anyways, that means I maybe can keep the Asus. Hmmm..

Just get a 5 port unmanaged switch and plug it into one of the ports. Best if it is vlan compatible.

Also, there were some compatability issues in MacOS where folks had to manually force the ethernet adapter to the link rate needed in the mac ethernet config page. Solved their issues once manually set.

And btw, after my research I have understand that this ugly TP-link is a big scam company. If you look at there models they have models with similar name with big difference in cpu/ram specs.

For example:
AX1800 AX20 v1 1.5 ghz quad core 256 mb ram.
AX1800 AX20 v3 880 mhz dual core 128mb ram.
AX1800 AX23 v1 880 mhz dual core 128mb ram.

Now I understand how they can be so cheap, everybody thinks they order quad core but it is 50/50 chance you get it
lol.

With €50 budget you don't look at what's inside. You look at the price only and whatever fits.
