I'm having connectivity issues when using a ASUS RT-AC5300 in combination with USB modem

Hi Guys,

I have founded manu blogs relating to this issue with various asus routers with 3/4g modem option[/URL]. Please see te link below.....

It seems somone got the solution to this issue from the Global Asus tech support who shared the beta version of the softwere in Dec 2017. Has anyone got access to the dev team member who would be able to help me with this issue? Thanks

I'm having connectivity issues when using a ASUS RT-AC68U router in combination with a USB modem.

The issues occur when the modem is plugged directly into the router, but not when it's plugged into a computer.

I can still connect to the internet, and for the most part it works fine, but I experience intermittent connection issues. I find that visiting a specific site will work fine, but then suddenly visiting the same site will time out, then maybe 5-10 minutes later it will start working fine again. Or a site will load, but some of the resources wont (i.e. images or videos).

Quick update. After installnig beta RT-AC5300_9.0.0.4_382_19612-g01e94f5.trx, then hard restore to defult settings and seetting up USB WAN all works 100%
