Increase lookup space for computernames when connecting from openvpn?

I have a ASUS RT-AC86U. When I connect to it by OpenVPN I need to give Ip addresses to different devices on the net instead of their names. I guess that is since I am on a 10.8.0.X net and rest of the devices are on the 192.168. net
Is this possible to solve so I can use the names instead of their ip addresses?

You need to configure the VPN server to push its DNS server to the client. I think the option is called "Respond to DNS" and/or "Advertise DNS to clients".

Not really, it works perfectly well for me. Maybe there's some setting on your client that is overriding the DNS.
