Increase ping on WAN devices after wireguard installation.

I have router Asus RT-AX86U with Merlin firmware 386.7_2. Yesterday I installed wireguard via MartineauUK WireGuard Manager.
Wireguard works in policy mode as a client via connection to the VPS.
Only 2 devices from the local network are configured to work via wireguard, and the rest directly via wan.
But I noticed a increase in ping on 30-50 on all devices, even those working directly via wan. Below is an example in the screenshot.

100.127.255.249 is authorization server of my isp. Usually ping 1-2 to it.
Is there any way to lower the ping?

IIRC installing Wireguard forces the router to disable hardware acceleration which limits it's maximum throughput. It seems likely this is what is impacting your ping times.

Thank you. Installed openvpn instead of wireguard. And enable hardware acceleration. Now ping and speed on WAN connections are not affected.
