Instant guard DNS

I used to operative an openvpn server on my ac86u but since they added instant guard and it’s iOS app I think it’s more convient and faster as well. My issue is the DNS is bypassing my home network DNS which is running 2 pihole + unbound resolver. I can’t find anything about where the dns settings are for instant guard. I bought an ax86u I’m using as I mesh node but I’ll swap then around to use it as main and use wire guard on it but in the meantime I’d like to know if there is a cmd or a setting to change the dns ?

Look under IPSEC VPN for the settings to change DNS. But remember to allow the Pi-Hole to respond to all addresses.

Edit: I have not tested changing the DNS settings but it should work. A better method would be to use Wireguard or go back to good old OpenVPN. The down side to InstantGuard is it has a two hour time limit.

i read about a post where the user changed the DNS on the ipsec config and i tried it before posting here but it didn't work for some reason..
EDIT: I think i got it working i had to add my instant guard ip range to the pihole conf and change to listing on all interfaces.;i made sure 53 are blocked of course before doing so
