intermittent loss of conectivity between 2.4 and 5 GHz bands

I'm running an RT-AC68W with 380.58 firmware. I've had a couple of instances where the computers on the 2.4 GHz bandwidth and the 5 GHz bandwidth can no longer ping or ssh computers on the other band. They can still reach the router and the internet, and I can ssh into the router and then into a computer on the other band. Any ideas what's going on?

Hmm, that seems like a different problem from mine, but I can try to upgrade the firmware.
