Internet FTP Link - Connection Timing Out

I updated to the latest firmware and then went through the steps of setting up a USB-NAS through the AiDisk Wizard. I am able to access the shared USB folders through a remote computer on the network; however, I am not able to connect through the remote internet FTP link. Every time I try, this is what happens (see attached snippet) - I get an error screen that says the connection has timed out, and that the server is taking too long to respond. Any help in getting this set up properly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Did you forward your ports? FTP I believe is 21
