Issues with 5ghz network and shared drive access

New Around Here
I am running a home network of 5 pcs all together. 3 are wired lan connections and 1 is a laptop and the other is a windows 8 tablet. All tied together with a RT N66U.

The tablet and laptop have issues accessing shared drives on the network. I get an network error code of 0x80070035 , no path found. The drives are visible in the network drive section of windows but just not accessible. It seems intermittent and seems to time out rather quick as I have access sometimes. The strange part of all this is that it only happens on the 5 ghz network, when on the 2.4 ghz network everything seems to work perfectly with the shared access of the drives, no error codes or denied access.

The wired pcs never have any issues accessing the shared drives. Been searching for an answer to what could cause this but cant find any reason for this to happen. Internet access is fine even when drives are not accessible.
