Hi folks,
I've a question about keeping a port open with software and router firewalls. I'm using a RT-N66U.
I've forwarded a port for my bittorrent client and provided the corresponding exception for the software firewall.
After checking, I can confirm that the port is open and that my software firewall exception is working fine. However, when I turn on the router firewall, the port becomes closed.
Does anyone know how I can make an exception for the router firewall so that I can turn it on and the port remains open? I assumed the port forwarding did this, but seems like it doesn't.
I'm using Merlin's firmware v.374.43_2 (fork).
Thanks!
