Lease time

I thought the lease time was in minutes?

I set it to 1440, (from 120) and the lease is 24 minutes.

OMG, no wander my router was going crazy... cause if its using seconds, I was doing every two minutes.

And that would explain why my system log is continuously updating.

Mine is set to 86400, which I'm pretty sure is the default. 86400 seconds = 24 hours.

It's worse than that, because clients will start asking for a new lease when 50% of the current one has expired. So it would have been doing it every 60 seconds.
