Just trying to get some clarity.....wifi inside a wooden shed. Omni Antennas (may need to add a directional. 12 Feet from the garden shed is a wood fence with a about 2 Feet of shrubs/tree branches, etc on both sides of the fence.

How much or how little does branches, leaves, etc affect wifi signal degradation.....
Pretty dense fenceline - shrubs/shrub leaves, etc

I am using a directional antenna to fill up a different spot outdoors - shooting through a perimeter edge of bamboo. Decent 72dbm (usable enough)

The answer would be a lot depending on how dense that they are.

2.4GHz will probably make it through....I mean distance wise it isn't far so I would assume that would work. 5GHz on the other hand...less likely. You will probably just have to test it. Keep in mind, your directional antenna on the AP may help get signal to the client, but the client may not be able to reply back through it all.
