Link Aggregation variable speed on PC's

alicrankie

New Around Here
Hi, we have implemented link aggregation in the company with 4 ethernet utp cables with each connected to 1Gbps port making it a dynamic trunk port. (See the attach picture)

The scenario is that a PC's are connected to 3Com switches, each switch is connected to a Main floor switch (H3C S5500 1Gig x 48ports) on the floor through their 1Gig port uplink (hence each sub switch is connected to a 1Gb port of the Main floor Switch). There are 2 Vlan's configured one for the Link Aggregation and other for the rest of the switches

Now the main switch on the floor has 4 back bone connected to the Core switch in the Data center therefore having a dynamic 4Gbps connection. The Core switch is connected to NAS & SAN through fiber modules.

MAIN ISSUE

As you could see from the diagram that the PC's which have Windows 7 are achieving the data rate of 90-100 Mbps on u/L & d/L. But the PC's having WinXP are achieving variable speed, i.e 15-20 Mbps for d/L and 50-80 Mbps for u/L. Both the PC's are connected with 3Com switches with similar configuration and on the same subnet.

Have tried to change the window size which was not fruit full. All suggestions are welcomed
