The new Linksys firmware update will add a Web UI so that Velop owners can manage their home networks using Macs or Windows PCs, as well as the existing app used in iOS and Android devices.

The browser-based UI will give owners access to features, such as:
  • DHCP service
  • Domain Name Service (DNS)
  • Troubleshooting tools, including reports, logs, device tables and ICMP (ping, trace route) utilities.
  • Network security-based functions such as firewall, VPN and DMZ.
  • Node signal strength and connected devices
The new browser-based UI will be automatically installed using Velop's Automatic Firmware Update, if enabled. If disabled, customers can also manually install the firmware. For more information on upgrading your Velop firmware, click here.

great so they added something that should have been there from the start its exact content we will have to wait and see until a for download and use it , i think they may still be a little under impressed with the featureset
