How does everyone setup their network in terms of logical file location when using a NAS?
For example, I use my NAS as mostly a file library archive where most of my files on my NAS are read only for protection while the files on my local machine are read/write. I keep files locally for other reasons too; 1) not confuse my wife, 2) performance (ie. video editing).
The problem is that if I want to remote into my NAS and see my NAS drive AND the files on my local PC's. How do I accomplish this? My current method is just using file synchronization.
Any thoughts would be welcome.
