Login Issues with latest firmware

Is this a problem that just I am having with the latest firmware? I don't see anyone else complaining about this.
The first time I try to log in, no matter what the circumstances, I get this...

The second time it works fine...

Have you enabled IPv6?

Very common problem under certain circumstances. It typically means you failed to log out of the previous GUI access and are attempting to access the GUI from a different device. Provide more specifics of how you get that message. Are you seeing it on a mobile device or computer? Is that device changing it's network connection between GUI access times? If WiFi is the device set to randomize it's MAC address? Are you failing to log out of the GUI before trying to access it again from a different device or web browser program/instance?

Hello, and thank you in advance,

I am using a PC. I have two PC's, each very differently configured, but the problem suddenly appeared on both. I can't attribute it anything that's suddenly changed except new router firmware. It started a week or so after I installed the latest firmware for the router. The strange thing is that it’s not predictable. I have tried a number of experiments to see what’s causing it, but when I experiment it always works. I can't be sure, but I think it may be the session timeout. It only happens when the session times out.

@Pocah.H, are you leaving the router GUI open on a web browser on one machine and trying to access the GUI from another machine? Are you accessing the GUI and closing the browser window without using the GUI's logout button?

If you think it's a "session timeout" issue then as a troubleshooting step, try adjusting the auto logout value in the Administration > System > Basic Config section.

Thank you for the reply.

Further "research" and I don't know what causes it. It's seemingly random. I will just give up. It's not like it's a bother to have to press refresh when it fails. It always works on the second attempt.
