I recently moved, and found that I wasn't getting the speeds I was used to on the LAN. I realized I forgot that the Router effects the speed of both the Wan and the LAN. (opps >_<)

Anyway, I purchased a Linksys RV082, and a DSL 7 Mb line as well as a 1.5 T1. The RV082 is a 10/100 router.

I'm pretty sure my Lan Speeds would improve again if I had a Gigibit router.

My question is:

Is there a good Dual Wan Gigibit Router in the same price rage as the Linksys RV082? If I need to spend more I will however.

Also I'm about to look this up, but I have a NSA 240 SonicWall Router. Does that have Dual Wan Feature?

Thanks!

Just buy a gigabit switch and connect it to a router LAN port.

Hmm, I do have a gigbit switch connected to the router.

...Any other ideas why I may not be getting gigbit speed. (also how do I test that?)

Your computers need to have Gigabit LAN ports, of course.
You can check speed with LAN SpeedTest or doing any large file copy from machine to machine.
