My brothers router passed away so i gave him my old ac87u. Now i am looking something to replace it. I've been looking for used asus routers like ac88u goes for ~100€. or ac86u ~150€. Is there some significant difference between these two?
I know that ac86u has aes-ni support, but i am not running vpn of any sort so it doesn't have any weight to me. few extra lan ports are welcome so i could retire my old switch also. thats why i am leaning towards ac88u.
